Itinerary
Welcome to Japan “The land of the rising Sun” – the country known for it’s traditional arts, oldest civilization, and embracing technology like no other country on the planet. Upon arrival at Kansai you will be met and transferred to the hotel in Osaka. Overnight in Osaka.
Today we have a boxed breakfast and board a bullet train to Hiroshima. Arrive Hiroshima & proceed to the peace park, Peace museum & Bomb Dome. We stop for lunch and then we take the Miyajima ferry to the Miyajima Island and visit the Itsukushima Shrine to see the Floating Torii Gate. Travel back to Osaka by bullet train, have dinner and then proceed to the hotel for the night.
Check out and proceed for a photo stop at Osaka Castle known for Cherry Blossoms. Then onto Shinsaibashi for shopping. We then drive to Kyoto to visit the Kinkauji Temple - the heart of the temple complex is the Golden Pavilion (kinka-ku). This is a Zen Buddhist temple and World Heritage site. Later drive to Nagoya & visit the flower village of Nabana No Sato. This village is beautiful by day and also comes alive by night with beautiful illuminations. Dinner and then proceed to the hotel. Overnight in Nagoya.
Today we check out and visit the Toyota Kaikan Museum. Situated right next to the headquarters, this museum exhibits the latest technology on environment, safety & manufacturing. We then proceed towards the Hakone region onto the Hakonemachi Pier, to board the Lake Ashi Cruise. Post this we will go to Owakudani Ropeway to see the sulphur vents at Owakudani Volcanic valley (subject to weather condition). Overnight in Mishima / Shizouka.
We visit Mt Fuji 5th Station (Subject to weather conditions). Then we drive towards Tokyo & onto Hei Shrine famous for its Red color Torii gates, followed by a visit to Ueno Park – one of the most popular locations to see the Cherry Blossoms. Overnight in Tokyo.
After breakfast we depart for a sensory experience at Team Labs. Leave Team Labs and then en route we have a photo stop at the “Statue of Liberty”. Then we depart for Tokyo Skytree – a television broadcasting tower and landmark of Tokyo. In the evening we will have a photo stop at Shibuya Crossing one of the busiest crossings in Japan. After dinner we proceed to the hotel.
After breakfast, we start with the Asakusa temple. Sensoji temple, also known as Asakusa Kannon and located in Tokyo's Asakusa district. From here we proceed to experience the Japanese traditional Tea tasting ceremony & Kimono wearing experience. We go onto Ginza where you can spend free time / shop around. Continue for dinner & then overnight in Tokyo.
