Transportation
Air:
Reaching Kashmir by air transport is most
convenient since the state has three airports
that are located in Srinagar, Jammu and
Leh. The main airlines that connect these
destinations to and from the major towns
of India are the Indian Airlines and Jet
Airways. Further, there are also lots of
other private airlines that are coming up
and will be interconnecting the remote places
of India with Kashmir.
Rail:
Rail travel is the most preferred means
of travel by the travelers and with the
improvement in this network, more and more
people now travel by rail transport. The
main railway station is located in Jammu
Tawi and the major cities of India are linked
to this station by the efficient rail links.
Road:
